PROPRIETARY MOC Heat Treatments


  • Isothermal annealing at 800°C, hold for around 2h, furnace cooling to 730°C and hold for at least 5h, cool by 10°C/h to 650°C, cooling in air. Stress relieving at 600 - 650°C, hold for 2h, furnace cooling to 300 - 350°C, cooling in air. Hardening: preheat to 350 - 450°C, heat to hardening temperature of 860 - 900°C with quenching in oil, 840 - 860°C with quenching in water. Tempering at 250 - 450°C for at least 2h.
