DIN GX2CrNiMoN25-7-3 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealing (+AT) at 1120 to 1150°C and quenching in water. After solution annealing at high temperature, castings may be cooled to a temperature between 1040°C and 1010°C prior to water quenching to prevent cracks and to improve corrosion resistance.
- +AT: Solution annealing at 1120 - 1150°C, cooling in water. After a high temperature solution annealing, the castings may be cooled to 1040 - 1010°C in water before quenching to avoid cracks and improve corrosion resistance.
