NS X11CrMo9-1+NT Heat Treatments
- Normalizing and tempering (+NT): 890-950°C, air cooling. Tempering: 720-800°C, air cooling. It may be necessary in the case of wall thickness T above 10 mm or T/D > 0.15 to apply quenching and tempering in order to achieve the intended structure and material properties.
- Normalized and tempered (NT):
Austenitizing at 890-950°C, air cooled
Tempering at 720-800°C, air cooled
