UNI 1.4477 Heat Treatments

  • Hot forming: 1150-1000°C, air cooling;
    +AT - Solution annealing: 1040-1120°C (If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified should usually be preferred, or even exceeded), air or water cooling; Cooling sufficiently rapidly in order to avoid precipitation.
  • Hot forming: 1200-1000°C, air cooling; Solution annealing (+AT): 1040-1120°C, water cooling. If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified should usually be preferred, or even exceeded.
