DIN 38SMn28 Heat Treatments
- Quenching: 850-880°C (0.5h minimum), water or oil cooling;
Tempering: 540-680°C (1h minimum). - Quenching: 850-880°C (time for austenitizing as a guide: 0.5h minimum); Medium: water or oil;
Tempering: 540-680°C (time for tempering as a guide: 1h minimum);
