- For plates and wide flats, any grain refining practice:
t ≤ 150 mm, furnace normalized (N) and thermomechanically controlled rolling (TM);
For sections and bars, any grain refining practice:
t ≤ 50 mm, furnace normalized (N) and thermomechanically controlled rolling (TM) (Subject to the special approval of LR, sections may be supplied in the as-rolled condition provided satisfactory results are consistently obtained from CharpyV-notch impact tests; Subject to the special approval of LR, sections may be supplied in the NR condition)
