ABS ABS Grade J Heat Treatments
- Tubes are to be either hot finished or cold-drawn. Cold-drawn tubes are to be heat-treated by isothermal annealing or by full annealing at a temperature of 650°C (1200°F) or higher. Cold-drawn tubes may also be heat-treated by normalizing. Hot-finished tubes need not be heat-treated.
