IS 20Ni7Mo2 Heat Treatments
- Process annealed: 650°C; Carburized: 880-920°C; Refined after carburized: 850-880°C; Hardened: 760-780°C; Tempered: max. 200°C;
- Quenched: 870°C ±5°C. Carburized: 890-940°C. Direct and single hardened: 810-840°C. Core hardened: 830-870°C. Case hardened: 780-820°C. Quenching media: oil, thermal bath, poly quench. Tempered: 180-220°C.
