PROPRIETARY UD30 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: heating to 840-880°C, holding at temperature furnace cooling to 650°C (10°C/hour), then cooling in stationary air; Stress relieving: after rough-machining: heating to 600-650°C, holding at temperature furnace cooling to 500°C, then cooling in stationary air; Hardening: preheating to 760-820°C, austenitization at 1030-1080°C, air/oilquenching or in thermal bath at 500-550°C; Tempering: heating to 600-680°C, holding at temperature. Make at least 2 tempering treatments.
