- Hot forming: 1100 to 800°C
Annealing: 750 to 850°C
Hardening: 980 to 1070°C, oil, air
Tempering temperature: 550 to 650°C
Structure after heat treatment:
After annealed: Ferrite + Pearlite + Sulphide
After hardened and tempered for good mechanical properties: Ferrite + as tempered structure + Sulphide
