PROPRIETARY LESCALLOY JETHETE M-152 ESR Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment for mechanical properties: 1052°C (1925°F) - ½ hr - oil quench / 549°C (1020°F) -3 hrs - air cool / 538°C (1000°F) - 3 hrs - air cool
Annealing: Heat uniformly to 871-899°C (1600-1650°F) and furnace cool. For subcritical annealing, temper for 6 hours at 691-704°C (1275-1300°F).
Hardening: Heat uniformly to 1010-1066°C (1850-1950°F), oil quench and temper to desired hardness.
Stress Relief: Heat uniformly to 593-621°C (1100-1150°F). Air or furnace cool.
