PROPRIETARY LESCALLOY HY-180 VIM-VAR Heat Treatments


  • Austenitize: Heat to 829°C (1525°F) for 1 hour per 25.4 mm of thickness and water quench to room temperature.
    Age: For maximum strength age at 482-510°C (900-950°F) for 5-10 hours and air cool to room temperature.
    Anneal: Heat to 621-649°C (1150-1200°F) for 1 hour per 25.4 mm of thickness and air cool to room temperature.
