  • Annealing: Heat to 788°C (1450°F) and hold at heat for at least 30 minutes per inch of thickness, air cool.

    The forgings temperature should be 1177-1204°C (2150-2200°F). Avoid prolonged soaking to prevent sulfur absorption from the furnace atmosphere.
