- Quenching: 1000-1100°C, water quench or rapid air cool.
- Quenching: 1100 ± 50°C, water quench or air cool. In the case where the heat treatment is performed in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the given temperature range, or even a temperature in excess of it, is normally preferred.
