  • 1. Annealed: 890-930°C, furnace cool;
    2. Normalizing: 890-930°C, air cool;
    3. Normalizing: 890-930°C, air cool; Tempering: 580-660°C, air or furnace cool;
    4. Quenching: 890-930°C, oil or water cool; Tempering: 580-660°C, air or furnace cool.
    Where the steel is to be used at elevated temperatures, the tempering temperature must not exceed 620°C and tempering times shall not exceed 3 h.
