ISO C 15 M2 Heat Treatments


  • Carburizing: 880-980°C; Hardening: 830-870°C; Double hardening: 880-920°C (Core hardening) and 780-820°C (Case hardening); Tempering: 150-200°C (min. 1 hour).
  • TC+TA - cold drawn and annealed to maximum hardness requirements. P+TA - peeled and annealed to maximum hardness requirements G+TA - ground and annealed to maximum hardness requirements. Carburizing: 880-980°C; Hardening: 830-870°C; Double hardening: 880-920°C and 780-820°C; Tempering: 150-200°C (min. 1 hour).
