ISO Type 23 Heat Treatments
- In the case of heat treatment in the course of processing after delivery, the lower part of the given solution temperature range is to be striven for. If, in the course of heat treatment, the temperature was not below the specified lower limit of the solution temperature, the following temperatures are sufficient for repeat heat treatments: 980°C in the case of molybdenum-free steels, 1 000°C in the case of steels with Mo <= 3% , 1020°C in the case of steels with Mo > 3%.
Quenched at 1020 to 1120°C, cooled sufficiently rapid in water or air.
