ISO 18 CrNiMo 7 Heat Treatments
- Carburizing: 880-980°C;Hardening: 810-850°C;Double hardening: 830-870°C (Core hardening) and 780-820°C (Case hardening);Tempering: 150-200°C (min. 1 hour).
- G+M- ground and treated to improve machinability G+TA- ground and annealed to maximum hardness M+TC- treated to improve machinability and cold drawn P+M - peeled and treated to improve machinability P+TA- peeled and annealed to maximum hardness requirements TC+M - Cold drawn and treated to improve machinability TC+TA- cold drawn and annealed to maximum hardness requirements. Carburizing: 880-980°C; Hardening: 810-850°C; Double hardening: 830-870°C and 780-820°C; Tempering: 150-200°C (min. 1 hour).
