STAS 39 MoAlCr 15 Heat Treatments
- Hardening in the range 925-955°C, quenching in water or oil; Tempering in the range 590-690°C, cooling in water or oil.
Hot plastic deformation:
- Forging and hot rolling: 1180-800°C
- Die forging: 1150-900°C.
Annealing in the range 710-740°C, furnace cooling; Normalization in the range 930-960°C, air cooling; Hardening (I) in the range 925-955°C, oil cooling; Tempering in the range 590-690°C, water or oil cooling.
