STAS 19 MoCr 11 XS Heat Treatments
- Hardening in the range 850-880°C, quenching in oil, re-heating in the range 810-840°C; quenching in oil; Tempering in the range 150-200°C, cooling in air.
Temperature of austenitization 880°C.
Hot plastic deformation:
- Forging and hot rolling: 1180-800°C
- Die forging: 1150-900°C.
Hardening (I) in the range 850-880°C, oil cooling; Hardening (II) in the range 810-840°C, oil cooling; Tempering in the range 150-200°C, air cooling.
