Heat Treatments

  • Hardening in the range 865-895°C, quenching in oil; Tempering in the range 170-230°C, cooling in oil or air. <br>Temperature of austenitization 870°C.<br><b>Hot plastic deformation:</b><br>- Forging and hot rolling: 1180-800°C<br>- Die forging: 1150-900°C. <br>Annealing in the range 650-680°C, furnace cooling; Normalization in the range 860-890°C, air cooling; Cementation in the range 870-900°C, water cooling or batch furnace cooling; Hardening (I) in the range 865-895°C, oil cooling; Tempering in the range 170-220°C, air or oil cooling.
