Heat Treatments

  • Austenitizing at min. 870°C (1600°F); Liquid quench; Tempering at min. 535°C (1000°F); Post-weld heat treatment must be at or below the final tempering temperature; Following quenching the castings must be cooled below 260°C (500°F) prior to tempering.
