ASTM A 269 S24565 Heat Treatments
- Tube shall be manufactured by the seamless or welded process. At the manufacturers option, tubing may be supplied either hot finished or cold finished. Tubes shall be supplied in the solution treated condition. Heat treat at 1120-1170°C and water quench or rapid cool by other means.
