ASTM A 943 TP347H Heat Treatments
- If cold working is involved in processing, the minimum solution treating temperature shall be 1100°C (2000°F).
If Grade is furnished in the spray-formed condition only, the minimum solution treating temperatures shall be 1050°C (1925°F). Quenching in water or rapidly cooling by other means.
A solution annealing temperature above 1065°C (1950°F) may impair the resistance to intergranular corrosion after subsequent exposure to sensitizing conditions.
