ASTM A 182 F 52 Heat Treatments
- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Heat treated: Solution treated at 995 - 1025°C (1825 - 1875°F) 30 min/25 mm of thickness and water quenched. Quenching cool below 260°C (500°F).
