ASTM A 556 Grade C2 Heat Treatments
- Cold-drawn tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold draw pass at a temperature of 640°C (1200°F) or higher. If stress-relief anneal of the U-bends is specified, the anneal shall consist of heating the bent portion within the range of 585 - 640°C (1100 - 1200°F).
