ASTM A 389 Grade C23 Heat Treatments


  • Normalizing: 1010 - 1065°C (1850 - 1950°F).
    Tempering temperature: 675 - 730°C (1250 - 1350°F), holding time 1h / 25mm or less of thickness.
    Minimum preheat temperature shall be 150°C (300°F).
