ASTM A 352 Grade LC9 Heat Treatments
- Castings shall be tempered at 565 - 635°C (1050 - 1175°F), followed by cooling in air or liquid.
Castings shall be allowed to cool below the transformation range directly after pouring and solidification before they are reheated for normalizing or liquid quenching.
