ASTM A 200 Grade T7 Heat Treatments


  • Hot-rolled tubes shall be heat treated by slow cooling from above 845°C, or isothermal annealing from above 870°C, or cooing in air or in the cooling chamber of a controlled atmosphere furnace from 900°C or higher and reheating to 650°C or higher. Cold finished tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold-finishing pass at a temperature of 650°C or higher.
