AISI H-12 Heat Treatments
- Air cooled at 566°C.
- Preheat: 788°C (1450°F)
Austenitizing: Salt Bath: 996°C (1825°F), Controlled Atmosphere Furnaces: 1010°C (1850°F)
Austenitizing time: 5-15 minutes
Quench Medium: Air
Tempering: 552°C (1025°F)
Double-tempered for 2h each cycle
