- Heat treatment (1): Heat to 1025 - 1050°C (1875 - 1925°F), quench in air or oil, and temper at 620°C (1150°F) minimum, or
Heat treatment (2): Anneal at 760°C (1400°F) minimum. - Oil quenched at 649°C.
