AISI 303 Se Heat Treatments
- Shall be furnished in the annealed condition to a min temperature of 1040°C (1900°F) and quenching in water or rapidly cooling by other means.
- Solution heat treatment: Consisting of heating the material to a minimum temperature of 1040°C (1900°F), followed by water quenching or rapid cooling by other means sufficient to prevent the formation of grain boundary carbides.
