SAE 6426 Heat Treatments
- Heat Treated: Specimens shall have the heat treated hardness value shown in the mechanical properties table after being placed in a furnace which is at 871°C ± 6°C, allowed to heat to 871°C ± 6°C, held at heat for 20 minutes ± 2, and quenched in commercial paraffin oil at room temperature.
