SAE 5370 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated by heating to 1093 ± 28°C (2000 ± 50°F), holding at heat for not less than 1 hour per 25 mm of maximum section thickness but in no case less than 30 minutes and cooling at a rate equivalent to a still air cool or faster.
