PN P45 Heat Treatments
- Hammered at 1200-800°C; Normalized at 830-860°C in the quiet air.
- Forging at 1150-850°C and slow cooling in containers or in piles in the hall; Softening at 650-700°C and slow cooling in the furnace; Normalizing at 840-870°C and cooling in still air; Quenching in water at 820-850°C or in oil at 830-860°C; Tempering at 530-670°C and cooling in still air in the hall.
