ASME SA-693 Type 634 Heat Treatments
- Solution Annealing Treatment:
1038 ± 15°C, quench
Equalize and Over Temper:
774 ± 25°C for not less than 3 hours, cool to room temperature, heat to 579 ± 15°C for not less than 3 hours.
Precipitation Hardening Treatment: 954 ± 6°C for not less than 10 minutes but not more than 1 hour, quench. Cool to not higher than -73°C, hold for not less than 3 hours. Temper at 538 ± 15°C, holding for not less than 3 hours.
