ASME SA-336 Grade F21 Class 1 Heat Treatments
- Forgings shall be annealed or normalized and tempered but alternatively may be liquid quenched and tempered when mutually agreed upon between the manufacturer and the purchaser. Normalizing or liquid quenching shall be followed by tempering, the minimum tempering temperature shall be 675°C (1250°F).
