ASME SA-426 Grade CP5b Heat Treatments
- The pipe shall be furnished in the austenitized and tempered condition. Austenitizing treatment: normalized or liquid quenched. It is recommended that the temperature for tempering should be at least 55°C (100°F) above the intended service temperature. The temperature for tempering shall not be less than 675°C (1250°F).
