ASME SA-420 Grade WPL8 Heat Treatments
- All fittings shall be furnished in the normalized, normalized and tempered, annealed, or quenched and tempered condition. All welding shall be completed prior to the austenitizing heat treatment.
Post weld heat treatment: metal temperature of 565 - 595°C (1050 - 1100°F), 30 min/ 25 mm, minimum holding time 1h.
