ASME SA-217 Grade WC5 Heat Treatments
- Furnished in the normalized and tempered condition. Tempered at 595°C (1110°F) minimum.
Heat treatment shall be performed after castings have been allowed to cool below the transformation range.
Minimum preheat temperature: 150°C (300°F) for all thicknesses.
