ASME SA-217 Grade WC1 Heat Treatments
- Furnished in the normalized and tempered condition. Tempered at 595°C (1100°F) minimum. Heat treatment shall be performed after castings have been allowed to cool below the transformation range.
Minimum preheat temperature: 10°C (50°F) for t ≤ 15.9 mm, 120°C (250°F) for t > 15.9 mm.
