- After hot working, forgings shall be cooled to a temperature below 538°C (1000°F) prior to heat treating.
Annealed at min 955°C (1750°F), furnace cooled.
Normalized at min 955°C (1750°F), air cooled; Tempered at min 675°C (1250°F).
