GOST 15GS Heat Treatments
- Normalization at a temperature of 900°C to 930°C.
Normalization of hot-deformed pipes with deformation heating is allowed, except pipes made of undeformed billet, at the same time the temperature at the end of deformation should not be lower than the normalization temperature.
It is allowed to conduct after the normalization of tempering at a temperature of 630°C to 670°C. - Quenching or normalizing at 900°- 930°C and cooling in the water, oil or air; Tempering at 630°- 660°C and cooling in the air.
