GOST 30 Heat Treatments
- Normalization: heating temperature at 880 +/- 15°C and cooling in air 30 min.; Hardening at 860°C and cooling in the water; Tempering at 600°C +/- 50°C and cooling in air 1h; Quenching at 850 - 890°C, 30 min., cooling in water; Annealing at 550 - 600°C, 1h and cooling in air.
- Normalizing: 870-900°C, Hardening: 850-880°C in water; Tempered: 540-680°C, air cooled
