GOST 19281: 2014 / High strength rolled steel. General specifications

Heat Treatments

  • Normalized at normal heating: 900 - 950°C. Normalized at high-speed heating: 900 - 1050°C. It is allowed to normalize hot rolled plate with Tmin = 890°C at the end of hot rolled process. Allowed for normalization, accelerated fan or spray cooling. It is allowed to conduct high-temperature tempering after the normalization.
  • Normalizing temperature,with the usual heating at 900-950°C (± 10°C) or with rapid heating at 900-1050°C (± 10°C).
