GOST 09H16N4B Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment 1:
1. Heating 1140 - 1160°C, holding on 5 - 5.5h, air cooling, tempering 600 - 620°C, air cooling.
2. Quenching 1030 - 1050°C, air or oil cooling, tempering 600 - 620°C, air cooling.
Heat treatment 2:
1. Heating 1140 - 1160°C, holding on 5 - 5.5h, air cooling, tempering 600 - 620°C, air cooling.
2. Quenching 1030 - 1050°C, air or oil cooling, tempering 600 - 620°C, air cooling.
3. Quenching 970 - 980°C, air or oil cooling, tempering 300 - 370°C, air cooling. - Annealing at 620-640 °C, hold 4-8h, cooling into furnace up to 200 - 300°C, then cooling in the air.
