GOST 07H16N6 Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment 1:
Quenched: heated in the range 975 - 1000°C, cooled in water, air or oil. Subsequent process at -70°C/2h or at -50°C/4h.
Aging at the range 350 - 400°C/1h, cooled in the air. - Heat treatment I: Normalizing 1040±10 °C, air cooling; Heat treatment II: Normalizing 975±10 °C, cold working -70 °C during 2h, tempering 425±10 °C for 1h, air cooling.
