UNI X 15 CrNi 13 Heat Treatments


  • Annealing: Heat to ≥ 730°C, hold for 1-3 hours, then slow cool in the furnace (25°C per hour) to 590°C or below, then cool to room temperature in still air. Hardening and tempering: Harden by oil quenching from 950-1000°C/1h. Temper at 550-620°C. Hardening and tempering for bars and forgings: Harden by oil quenching from 950-1000°C. Temper at 600-630°C for 1 hour.
