UNI X 10 Cr 13 Heat Treatments
- Annealing: Heat to 700-780°C, hold for 1-3 hours, then slow cool in the furnace (25°C per hour) to 590°C or below, then cool to room temperature in still air. Hardening and tempering: Harden by oil quenching from 950-1000°C, hold for a minimum of 1 hour. Temper at 550-650°C to obtain the desired mechanical properties. Hardening and tempering (I): Harden by oil quenching from 950-1000°C and temper at 630-660°C for 1 hour.
