UNI 17 NiCrMo 5 Heat Treatments
- Material shall normally be supplied in the annealed condition. Normalizing shall consist of air cooling from 850 to 880°C. After case hardening, final heat treatment shall consist of oil quenching from 860 to 880°C followed by tempering at 150 to 180°C.
